  The food was tasty, but that's where it ends.
  Menu changes along the way increased the price from our original quote, but when we requested to go back to our original menu, the price also went up.
  Our coordinator went over timelines and logistics ahead of our wedding, but the servers were either understaffed or disorganized on the day. Despite providing the Butler Did It with a list of people with allergies and the seating chart, some of our guests (nut-free, gluten-free) received food they are allergic to. Other guests were not served for an hour, and no one was served wine during dinner, even though it was expressly stated in their quote that wine glasses would be topped up.
  Later, we found out that 11 people and our day-of coordinator picked up the flu at our wedding. They were from different friend and family groups, and not sitting together. We investigated the source and found the only common element was the caterer. The Butler Did It was very unprofessional when we shared this with them and implied we told them so that we wouldn't have to pay our bill. The health authority reviewed the facility as a result of our complaint and found sanitary issues.
  I would not recommend the Butler Did It.

  The Butler did it is by far the best catering company in the lower mainland. The food is top notch in not only taste but presentation, selection and affordability. They catered a large corporate LAST minute Christmas event for us and really went above and beyond. Darryl ( the owner ) even personally came down to the event to oversee and make sure all my rigorous demands were met. Absolutely every part of the event was fantastic, we couldnt have been more pleased. I would highly recommend Daryl and his brilliant staff to anyone planning an event and will definitely be taking advantage of the Butlers services in the future. GREAT JOB GUYS !!

  Very mixed feelings on this place.
  
  The catering: we bring the catering in for big meetings at work and it has always been great.
  
  The cafe: Food is fine but their pastries/cookies are not very appealing.
  The service always seems slow. Which i can understand during lunch time rush. However, today a man who seemed to be a regular and arrived/placed his order well after me got his sandwich made before mine... We were the only 2 people there at that time... It was not the first time people in my office get the feeling that some people there get better customer service than others but whatever... we just don't go as often as we used to anymore as a result.
  
  The two ladies at the cash sometimes seem nice but most times look like they are not happy to be there. They hardly ever smile and we always get the feeling like we are bothering them somehow.
  A few months back there was a sign that they were the customer service employees of the month... but they are the only two people we ever see at the front so that was an interesting one.
  
  One time I ordered the special and my sandwich came without any meat in it just onions and tomatoes or something. Was pretty gross. I mentioned it the next time and they apologized and gave me another sandwich for free. Their kitchen had made a mistake and all of their special were missing the meat. The fact they came forward with it and gave me a free lunch the next time was greatly appreciated.
