  5 stars because it was definitely a time to be had. It gets really hot inside (of course drinking and dancing contributes). The dance floor is right smack in the middle of everything as it is a resto-lounge turned night club at 10pm. Food is decent but not cheap at all. Drinks are pretty pricey too. Overall, the music is fantastic. Old school from the 90s fused with some new tracks makes for a great time on the dancefloor.

  I would describe this place as "okay," but nothing special. The shape of the tables make it impossible to share food, and for some reason nobody could hear each other. The ambience is uninspired, and the food and drinks are overpriced for what they are. My boyfriend and I felt quite ill a couple hours after eating there as well. There are better places to go in that price range.

  I have hosted my fundraisers at The Charles Bar for the past couple years and could not be more thrilled with the outcome! The manager was incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring everything was planned and sorted out for the event, and the staff in general were very friendly and attentive throughout the evening. Food and drink did not disappoint and the bar has an awesome atmosphere. Will continue to host at The Charles Bar for sure!

  I've found Charles bar to be hit and miss. It's more often a hit, but I have had some Meh experiences with the staff and food here as well.
