  The staffs were friendly except the girl standing by the entrance . It is usually crowded and you can hear other's conversation, it is like they are sitting in front of you. The food was soo delicious . Although our waitress said what we had ordered, was a sharing plate , each of us had its own . My boyfriend really enjoyed it . So did i. Mine was seafood plank and the portion was a bit much for me but my boyfriend had it all without any leftovers.

  Atmosphere is nice, Guest musicians are cool. Staff are typical Vancouver, over-privileged, pretentious, and unwelcoming. Come for the music and other people but don't get your hopes up about the service. There are other bars that are for that.
  They must've been training a new bartender too. Guy tried to pass off something nasty because he didn't have the right ingredient instead of telling me he was out and suggesting something else.

  The Chill Winston is a laid back and hip environment. From the furnishings to the way the staff dresses all lends to a very trendy environment. My girlfriend and I recently visited to kill sometime as we waited for a reservation down the road.
  
  The menu is relatively expensive $7-$8 for a beer, $10-$12 for a glass of wine and +$22 for an entree. I will admit that I see the place as more of a lounge/bar than restaurant so perhaps this is why I find the food to be expensive.
  
  We tried the bison burger, but it was overcooked and we had to send it back, our waiter handled the situation well, but was only able to remove 50% of it off our bill. The pork cheeks were close your eyes and melt in your mouth good.
  
  Overall, if you want a cool environment for a drink and/or food the Chill Winston is a great vibe, just be wary that you money is paying extensively for environment.

  We had a great night here. Cocktails in particular were great, & so was the food. We sat in some big comfy chairs just inside, next to an open window, so felt part of both the inside & outside, & we had a great view to the outside street. Felt intimate but still connected to the outside world. It was relaxing, the food/drinks were really good, the service was good - tick tick tick, very happy night.

  Great beer! Great service! Amazing patio and atmosphere. I loved the emphasis on local products and the prices were reasonable for the quality! Can't remember our servers name unfortunately but he was so friendly and knowledgable. Definitely recommend this for anyone visiting!
