  Ahhhh Mother's day. Wifey wanted me to take her out. With kids and mother in-law in tow we went downtown. For some reason this restaurant was near empty? Are there no mothers downtown? This restaurant is hidden because it is on the second floor you have to find the staircase on the side street. We ordered a medley of items on the menu. I'm not a pokee or sushi guy so according to my wifey and daughter princess wasabi it was really good. Mini me like me doesn't do sushi had a don and tempura which he enjoyed and had for lunch at school the next day. Wait staff here are friendly and fast. Price is good also.

  The cocktails such as sangria, sex on the beach, and their long Island iced tea were standard and tasty. I went on a Thursday where they had a deal on the Sangria pitchers. Their fried chicken is a good portion for the price and they had good service too. We stayed for over 6 hours (through two happy hours) and can attest to how many times they helped refill our water and take away our empty plates. However, their happy hour sushi is nothing to rave about, and neither is their spicy tuna bowl. The tuna was kind of mushy and not that fresh. The location of Ebisu is very convenient to get to, just off Bute and Robson and their selection of drinks makes it worth it to check out though!
