  The head chef Sabrina is an absolute pleasure, very friendly and loves her job too. Staff are friendly as well.

  Portion sizes and service were good. They have live music on the weekends, which is nice. However, the food wasn't the greatest. My gnocchi had way too many sun-dried tomatoes in it and just tasted like salt. Desserts were over priced for how small they were and the fact that they only tastes so-so.

  Enigma was a complete dissapointment. Food quality was very poor. Kids chicken strips was overcooked, then after that was sent back mac and cheese was tasteless. Chicken breast on salad was overcooked and dry. Spinach and artichoke dip was very small and not very good (we were hoping for Milestone's quality or better). Potato leek soup was super watery. Love music was nice but was too loud for an early dinner (6:30pm with kids). Won't go back. Sorry to hear the old owners retired.

  BEST sticky toffee pudding in Vancouver, hands down!!! Friendly service staff, owners who participate and pitch in when it's busy (classy!) and chat with regulars, and a great hollandaise sauce on the bennys. Enigma is a great neighbourhood restaurant that does brunch, lunch and dinner very well, plus drinks and live entertainment. Worth supporting a well-run and community-minded establishment, but also, you'll go back simply for the good food :)

  I was there for Mother's day, we had a reservation but it took forever to get seated. Staff seem unexperienced and service is slow. Atmosphere is strange - what is the theme? Weird art, tacky...Food was mediocre. Would unfortunately not bring my business here again.
