  Dinner menu items are ginormous! Went as a party of 4 and we ordered 4 dishes ... server (owner?) told us, "It's too much. Just order 3. It'll be enough." Sure enough, he was right. Appreciated the honest suggestion.

  Honolulu is a good place if you're wanting comfort foods and good prices. Good tasting food and friendly staff. Can't beat it !!!

  Good food with Affordable price; mini dishes on dinner menu recommended: at least order 2 dishes come with bucket of steam rice.
  Sweet and Sour pork on Mini dish evening menu recommended. Always fresh and tasty.

  The food here is okay. It is a neighbourhood staple that has been around for years. There are definitely better hk cafes out there.
  Something that is noteworthy is their breakfast here. The combo is a super good deal for only $6.95 + tax that offers a choice of omelette or sandwich paired with a noodle in soup topped off with french toast and a drink.
  Tip: their milktea is good but waaaaaaaay too sweet. So I would advise to ask for no sugar (since even when I ask for less sweet, it still tastes like liquid diabetes.)

  Honolulu Cafe is alright, nothing special in my opinion. I didn't try too much because I wasn't a fan of the soup. I probably didn't choose right though. Staff is friendly though! and price is good, just don't be expecting mind-blowing food. It has been around for a long time, so there has to be something there people keep going back for.
