  I've been to this location three times.
  
  The first time (May 2016) was amazing, the server was really attentive and the food was delicious.
  
  The second time (a week or so after the first time) was the complete opposite, the staff was all over the place and overall the service was poor. The manager did apologise at the time so we put it down to an off day.
  
  I visited more recently (Feb 2017) for my anniversary and we were basically shoved in the corner and forgotten about. We thought maybe the second visit was an off day but after experiencing something similar we won't be back at this location.

  Instead of eating something at the Granville Island market where it's usually pretty crowded, we decided to have lunch at the Keg which is also located on Granville Island. We were greeted by a friendly staff member who took us to the back of the restaurant to a nice and cozy booth. Our waiter was a lovely young man who could recommend that the Prime Rib sandwich was really good and it was the special of the day as well. He didn't have to convince us much longer before we decided this would be our lunch. He brought some water to us as well as fresh french bread with some whipped butter. The bread was very nice. When our sandwich arrived it looked just delicious!! We shared a crispy calamari appetizer which was really yummy too! The waiter was very attentive and we never had to ask for anything as he was ahead of us each time. Now that's great service! We enjoyed our sandwich very much and I would say it's one of the better ones I have ever had. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and felt very cozy. We enjoyed our quiet lunch away from the hustle and bustle of Granville Island.

  I came in last Saturday and was greeted by the most lovely hostess, incredibly friendly and personable. It was a great start to an evening filled with excellent service and great food. The wine list is also extensive and well priced ;) I would absolutely come again.

  Usually busy for good reason. Customer service is great and some of the best servers in Vancouver. I once decided to leave before ordering since the server took 10 minutes to approach me.
  
  Before I could get to the door, the server grabbed me and appologized for the wait and she assured me that I would be happy if I stayed. I was pleased with the determination to keep a happy customer. Been going there regularly since.

  Came here on a Friday night with some friends. As with all of the Keg chains, service is always great. Our server was kind and made conversation and didn't rush us to leave.
  
  I ordered the shrimp cocktail to start. Unfortunately this one wasn't too great. The shrimps were kinda soggy and not super fresh tasting. Not that the shrimp was off or anything but the texture wasn't that fresh crunchy texture I was expecting. For my main I got the mini filets and Cajun shrimp. Now I'm not an expert on what Cajun flavouring is but to me the shrimps kinda tasted like it was cooked in salsa. Like tostitos style salsa. It was a little weird. The filets on the other hand was cooked to perfection! Ordered it medium rare and all 3 mini filets came out the same way. My friend's ordered 14oz steaks and looked like it was on the dry side.
  
  We also got the mini desserts to share. Creme brule and the brownie. Both great tasting and perfect size after a large meal.
