  The tan tan noodles were absolutely unbelievable. The broth was creamy but light and the perfect spice. I will dream of these noodles all night. The balsamic beef spare ribs were really good as well. A little too fatty for me, but that's what you get with spare ribs, right? The sauce was phenomenal.

  Best Japanese restaurant for a reasonable price! Outstanding service, great ambiance, dishes are authentic, super delicious and with good variety. It never fails to impress - Kingyo brings joy to my stomach and soul!

  The black cod is so good. Lots of depth in this dish. The silky translucent egg yolk is not only visually stunning, but amazing with the fish.

  Wonderful Japanese place. When on the bus to Kingyo someone said it was "too Japanese". Which is exactly what we wanted to hear. Not sure that, too authentic can really be a complaint. The Ramen my friend got was out of this world excellent. Service was prompt. Best to make reservations as it's very popular but for good reason. Don't let Kingyo get passed up.

  We were visiting from out of town and found this place just out walking near our rental. The atmosphere is comfy, woody, dark, and authentic. Each dish we ordered was absolutely wonderful! We ordered seafood-centric dishes so I can't speak for the meat dishes, but if we lived here we would be regulars. The bonus is that the prices are very reasonable for such high quality and fresh seafood dishes. Based on our experience you need to make reservations, even on a weeknight. Don't miss it!
