  High end, authentic Italian. Eating family style is a great way to try a little bit of everything. Great wines, pasta, seafood, in fact is hard to find anything that is bad. They even have a curtain around the waiting area, so guests don't get blasted with cold air when the door opens.

  If you pick your wine first, then decide what to eat with it - this is the place for you! Lovely wine list and absolutely fabulous food.
  
  They do a "family style" tasting menu - large and small. If there are only two of you, definitely go for the small. It's more than enough food. (They also serve a la carte). We were pleasantly delighted when the chef sent out dish after dish that went perfectly with the Northern Italian wine we selected. Only a couple were from their a la carte menu, the remainder were all made just for us. Superb! I came for some handmade pasta and wow! It was the best I've had in the Pacific Northwest.
  
  The service is attentive, very helpful, but not fussy. The tasting menu is an incredible deal. The wine is.... well, not such a great deal. Vancouver restaurants tend to mark their wines WAY up in the stratosphere. But for all that, it was a lovely experience. We will definitely go back.
