  Oh man, if I could come here for breakfast every day, I would. The food and coffee is wonderful, and served with their own fresh made bread. It will be some of the best bread you ever eat. The interior is also quite spacious, but still feels intimate when you sit down at a table.
  
  One thing I also really love about this place is their "suspended coffee" policy - the ability to purchase a coffee in advance for someone who would not otherwise be able to afford one. As this restaurant is located near the East Side, which is a very impoverished area, I think the policy is a very good thing to have.

  Love the vibe of this place! And their bread is so delicious. The crust is crispy but the inside of the bread is extremely moist! Highly recommend this for breakfast or brunch!

  best bread ever! the closet I have found to what you can get in Paris. the simple menu items are wonderful. is there anything more beautiful than a wooden board with a few slices of fresh bread a pat of butter and that days confiture sitting in front of you? you really feel cozy like you are being given lunch in someones home

  Great atmosphere, beautiful place. If you come around Gastown, be sure to check in for a can of tea and a lot of space to let the mind wander. So many details to discover, if you're into architecture and interior design. Some little surprises are also waiting for adventurous guests.

  Superb avocado toast. Perfectly poached eggs. Elysian coffee. Hipster-esque vague and non descript menu. Lots of tables locked down by those without better notion of a more appropriate place to study than a busy food and coffee spot with limited and sometimes difficult seating. Worth the trials and tribulations involved though. Excellent spot!
