  Came for afternoon tea, great if you have a bigger group and want veggie options. Service was great as well. Good value.

  We had a 5 pm reservation; our food came at 6:45. No one apologized for the TWO-HOUR WAIT 'til we complained after paying. We were even told to be on time and arrived early. Food was bad: macarons had flat, sticky, tough shells with runny filling, strawberry cake wasn't fully defrosted, cream puffs tasted stale; tea was delicious. There was only one server, so water alone took an hour to come. Guess they figured service doesn't matter when gratuity is added automatically.

  Cozy, dainty little tea room tucked away. The tea service was lovely and they have a vegetarian option. The whole place smelled like roses and the chairs were very comfy. Soft, gentle music playing. I was so relaxed being here. However, we sat around for a while waiting to pay the bill but it turns out you pay at the front. Nobody told us, just kept looking at us awkwardly :(

  Worst service I've ever had. Usually don't post reviews, but I had to this time. Our large party came early, was seated, and ordered afternoon tea sets. The tea alone arrived after 1 hour... Part of our group, minus our table, had gotten their food already. The tea itself was good.
  
  There was a bowl of pasta sitting on a counter (made by mistake for a guest) that had definitely been there for over an hour. Some of our tablemates were so hungry they asked to eat it. The waitress said OK because "it wasn't her mistake".
  
  Just 10 minutes short of 2 hours after ordering, our table finally got our food. The other tables had already finished.
  
  The food itself was sub par. The strawberry on one of the cakes was half-frozen. The strawberry cream puff tasted burnt. The sandwiches were below average. The macaroon was, without a doubt, the worst I have ever eaten. It was pre-squashed, half as thick as normal, and the filling hadn't set properly, so it felt as if I was biting into a slug... but the shell was tough and sticky, so that part was like eating old gum. The taste was all right.
  
  The cashier added an obligatory gratuity for our group. I asked them to refund the gratuity, and the cashier complied with a meager "sorry".
  
  The single waiting staff member was obviously overtaxed, despite that we made the reservation many days in advance. The owner could have significantly improved the service in at least two ways: 1. If there is going to be an extended wait beyond what's normal, inform your guests. 2. Offer an apology.
  
  Overall, the experience was abysmal. Some of the other tables received decent service, but everyone complained about the food.

  Went there with a group of friends for afternoon tea. After we were seated for about 15 minutes, no one came to see us about ordering so we had to go up and get a server. Once our order was placed, we waited another 15 minutes and had to get up again to ask if we were able to get our tea along with a drink of water. After our meal was served, we also had to go request our bills. We were also not informed that a gratuity was added to our bill and some of us ended up double tipping. Overall, the service ended up making our meal less enjoyable.
