  Heard good things about this place, so I arrived at 10:50 with an advertisement right outside the door that they served breakfast until 11. I was refused breakfast because the kitchen closed early to prepare for Lunch. When I contested that it was still 10 minutes to 11:00, the staff person behind the counter got upset with me because I wasn't being cooperative. Asked me if I wanted anything else, I said no and left. (Downtown Vancouver on W Pender.)

  Disappointed! Crust over cooked, burnt and tasteless. extremely thin cuts toppings. Over priced! Won't go back and annoyed enough to take time to share this experience. Was told that because of expansion, they 1/2 cook the dough in another bakery, then freeze it and later cooked on an order.

  Nothing quite like waking up with a steaming London-Fog, Chai Latte or Green Tea Latte. I enjoy the fact none of these are overly sweet, letting the subtle flavours tempt you back into functioning for the rest of the morning.

  Very very average... Don't know how this gets a "critics choice" tick on TimeOut Vancouver. So far, that's two from two bad offerings from TimeOut Vancouver.
  I had far better food and better service (and cheaper) at Matchstick coffee yesterday. Should have gone back their instead.
  And what's with the crap Mariah Carey Christmas music in February?
  No style, no substance and definitely would not recommend or go back.
