  The owners are really friendly, and super nice to kids. The fish is crispy and the deals are great. It's a wonderful family restaurant. 10 pieces of cod, 3 orders of chips, 2 coleslaw, and 1 gravy for only $24.10. (After tax) the coleslaw and tartar sauce are homemade, too. Cash only.

  You need to go there to believe it. First impression, the place was spotless. Not only does the owner wipe the table after each diner, she also wipes down the ketchup bottle, salt and pepper and all condiments on the table. Wife went for the two piece fish and chips. Comes with clam chowder and cold slaw for $7.95. Chowder is commercial chowder but thick and tasty. Two pieces of fish done to perfection. I had the combo with battered shrimp. Tasty and we'll done. Not your upscale fish and chip restaurant but great value for the dollar.

  It's rare to find a restaurant with good quality food at a good price. For most fish and chips place, they coat their fish with heaping amount of batter so that the customer get more flour and fish. This place do it just right: Thin coat that makes the fish crunchy but not get in the way of fish.
  
  Also we did not eat in the restaurant and have it as a takeout. The fact that the food is still nice and crunchy after the drive back gives you an idea of the quality (I've seen many fried foods turned soggy after even a short drive)
  
  The owner is generous in servings: 10 piece cod, 2 coleslaw, 3 fries and gravy for $24!! That's quite unheard of!! This is a mom and pop shop that I would recommend to anyone

  A quaint, inconspicuous fish and chippery along Kingsway. This shop has a varied menu revolving around the British meal at incredible prices. The restaurant is owned by an Asian family (which is as authentic as it comes, as the best F&C shops in Britain are also similarly operated). The fish batter is perfectly thin and crispy and the chips are crunchy and hot - overall fantastic. The service is great and the ladies are attentive. So glad we popped in here.
