  Okay food. Bad service. Meh atmosphere. I thought I would enjoy it when I walked in. I wanted to go outside a few times just to get some fresh air. The atmosphere is very oppressive.

  Had dinner at Tavola and it was a nice experience. The restaurant is not fancy, but rather it had a nice "home" feel to it. The food was good and the portions were decent. Got a nice recommendation on the wine list and the whole meal including the wine was fairly priced. Recommended.

  Tucked into the tip of Robson Street, this boutique Italian restaurant exemplifies great food and service. It is Top in class without any of the pretentiousness.
  In our case, we felt that the wine we had chosen was off. In fairness, we had been drinking everything from beer to Cesars that day.
  But the service staff didn't blink an eye. They brought us another bottle from a different case. And when that was the same and they felt that we just didn't like what we has chosen, they ran next door to grab another bottle!
  Now that, is something Special and something rare these days. Something that would make me go back time and again!
