  We were here today for the first time after a lovely experience at the Aquarium. We were seated right away and met with a nice waitress. We ordered 5 minutes in with smiles all around until they realized we were not drinking booze.
  
  30 minutes later we got our Sodas, no bread was given to us to nibble on unlike the rest of the patrons.
  
  At the 40 minute mark, with our sodas empty and only haven seen our waitress once when sitting down, then a second time when the sodas were delivered. We walked out.
  
  If the place was busy I would have been completely understanding. But it seems to me the moment we didn't look like a "big tip" to the waitress, we were shunned.
  
  Btw, the place was spotless, the view was great, the staff looked friendly and happy, but don't expect anything much in customer service.

  The view is nice if you are seated outside. The staff are friendly. There's a decent wine list, including several British Columbia ones by the glass. The menu looks good, but the food was so so. Of our two dishes, the grilled feta was better than the bruschetta, but neither were great.

  Was visiting Stanley Park on a hot day so I was desperate for a cool drink.
  This place has amazing ambience and hill too views of the bay.
  If you are looking for venues of private dinners and ceremonies, this place would be stunning. Downsides was that the prices reflected its prime location and so may daunt some budget travellers.

  Beautiful location -- we had a short wait -- 1/2 hour and a table with a view. I enjoyed the wild mushroom ravioli. We had biked along the waterway and through Stanley Park -- this was a lovely reward.

  My fiancé and I visited the Teahouse for what we hoped would be a romantic dinner together. They delivered on all fronts.
  
  Food and drinks were fantastic, service was impeccable, and they took a few extra steps to make the night memorable. We had a great time watching the sun set over dessert.
  
  Shout out to Craig the manager, who was very professional but also welcoming, and Marissa and Darin who waited on us. The Teahouse always seems to have top notch service and staff! By far our favourite out of all the Sequoia restaurants and you can be sure we'll be back.
