  Food was very average for the hype it received. Portion sizes were laughably small for the price quoted. The flavor of the grilled chicken did bring out some of the Indian spices was good, but not a whole lot. Decent ambience, and the food didn't take longer than 7 minutes to be served.

  Great first time experience and is everything you'd expect for a restaurant given five stars. When I'm back in Vancouver, B.C. I will make sure this stop is on my list of things to do. Be prepared to stand in line to get a seat. If you want your food with more spicy heat just say so but you'd better mean it! I love the heat from spices and this was so good! All that's left to say to the staff is thank you for a great culinary experience.

  Incredible food. Slightly smaller servings so be prepared. The drinks are incredible and the chai is amazing. Every dish was seasoned well and tasted great. The naan was fresh and was almost like garlic bread with the flavor.

  We visited Vij's on a Thursday night around 7:20pm, and to our delight and surprise: there was no wait! Lovely dinner. The "Lamb Popsicle" is a must-have. The menu is thoughtful. Allowing most entrees to be ordered half-sized is a great touch (then you can try more kinds of food!). Delightful.

  Flawless food and some of the best service in Vancouver. The only criticism I've ever heard of this place is that the prices are high and the portions are small, neither of which is remotely close to the truth. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable meal.
