  Where do I begin?? First of all, the foul smell of mould when I opened the door should've told me to run for the hills! But, we were starving and hoped the menu would prevail! We ordered something simple, a couple of burgers to play it safe. Meanwhile, I was charged $9.00 for a double ceasar in a short glass. Ordered bottled beers after that cause we were scared of the lipstick marks on the glasses, they were $6.00+. Our food was ready in about 3 mins. My husband-a cheese burger and salad. Bun was so old it fell apart when he picked it up. Salad looked like 3 days old and mushy. I had a chicken burger and "home cut fries". Chicken was obviously microwaved and freezer burnt. So chewy I couldn't eat it. Who screws up French fries?? Well, The Village Pub is sad because it has potential to be a great neighborhood pub. Too bad. This place sucks, with a capital S!!

  Went over Halloween weekend. Bartender was a nice, older gentleman. Nothing fancy, just a local spot to grab a drink.

  I love this place. It's hidden and old fashioned and quiet. Staff are very friendly. Plus they gave the best Caesars in town.

  Nice place. Friendly service. Nothing fancy,but it doesnt try to be a pretentious Yaletown watering hole. The staff appreciate their regulars.
