  Yum! We were a big group of 12 and ordered a bit of everything. It's a diner type place, good for groups but setup for high turnover without much ambiance. Really though, you're here for some Crispy Max's fried chicken and lechon kuwali! It all came out fast and our server was on top of things. I'll be back for more sisig and Halo Halo

  I've ordered through SkipTheDishes from Max multiple times and always had a delicious meal. Only one occasion where I had to cancel because it took them awhile to confirm my order (im assuming they were busy). Nothing wrong in their part, I just needed food in a hurry.
  
  When it is fairly busy they typically don't have a lot of staff working, but just ENOUGH. Although short staffed they still give amazing, friendly, and professional service.
  
  I've brought both my housemates and my family here when they came to visit. Sat in the same table and had the same server. JASPER is always very pleasant to be served by. He always has a smile, friendly attitude, and provides an excellent customer experience. Thank you!

  For those just dropping by to get a meal, there are better places.
  
  The place is clean, well organized, and staff is very attentive and friendly. However the food is lacking both in taste and in portion.
  
  A 10+ dollar meal will leave you hungry because of the tiny portion and yet you would not crave for more due to the lack of savory punch typically found in Filipino cuisine. To put it bluntly, the food was bland and lacks any character. Even the garlic rice didn't set itself so much apart from regular steam rice.
  
  I can't attest to more expensive dishes because we only dropped in for a quick lunch and anything too much over 10 was not justified.
