  My wife and I visited two weeks ago, and it was a very pleasing experience. We had Salmon Sampler, grilled salmon(?) and bison ribs. Salmon sampler was very interesting. and I can't forget the taste of the candied salmon. Main dishes were great too, and I strongly recommend the wild rice pilaf to go with the main dish, it was amazing and very well worth it. It went really well with the salmon and the ribs. I wish to return back here on my next trip to Vancouver!

  My husband and I love Salmon n' Bannock. We go frequently to share the salmon sampler and have the world's best salmon burger. The salmon is always perfectly cooked and spiced and the bannock bun is sublime.

  At this price point this place is a pass. Owner was welcoming and attentive, the only server was completely incompetent. There clearly is no chef in charge of the kitchen. Our party of 4 waited 40 Min for our meal. Two of us had the simplest of things, salmon burgers, two had the evenings special, cod with seasonal veg. Although my burger was great my wife's Cod was a mess and the veg we're almost uncooked. My potato wedges were bizarrely screaming hot but under cooked. It seemed to me the owner was scrambling to keep the busy night on track. At these prices hire more staff and get real experienced kitchen staff.
  There are many many better places to spend your money and enjoy a great meal out.

  Had the boar belly. It was great. The bannock was delicious! Everyone was friendly. I would come back to try more items on their menu.

  I had no idea what to expect in terms of indigenous food but people were raving about this restaurant so we went. The menu is fantastic and hyper local - salmon, bison, elk, sweet grass, berries, ciders, beer. We had the salmon sampler which was fab. The elk was tender and the aroma intoxicating. Staff were friendly and helpful and the owner came by to share the story of how the restaurant came to be. Indigenous art adorns the walls. Really glad we checked this place out.
