  Because it's in Kitsilano, the place is a little far away from me, but whenever I get the opportunity to be around here, I definitely go here to eat. Not only is the food superb, the service is excellent. The staff are attentive and kept my glass full at all times. The owner would approach us and strike a conversation with us. He's really attempting to make our experience here a very good one. Overall, I had a very positive experience here and I do not mind tipping more than I should.

  After a long day hanging around in UBC. Ending on Wreck Beach for the sunset, Taste of Thai felt like the perfect place to end the day. Warm place with tasty food and great service. A little far from home but we'll come back :)

  I've had dinner at this restaurant multiple times and every time not only has the food been first-rate but the owner is hospitable and generous. The times I've had dinner with my friend, we would talk past our last bites as if we were at home drinking tea. The owner does true justice to Thai food, the steamed fish with lemon sauce is to die for, and the coconut soup is other-worldly and literally the best soup I've had in years. Every flavour practically interrupts your string of thoughts and makes you marvel at how tasty the dish is. I recommend to this to anyone who enjoys a good dinner or is a big fan of Thai food. The meal is well worth what you pay for it. The prices are completely reasonable.
