  Ended up here after visiting Van after a long hiatus, and couldn't find the highly recommended Hachi Sushi. Anyway, Asa's Combo was delicious. A California Roll with four pieces nigiri.
  
  However, tiny portions, and they even cheaped out on the roll by not using roasted seaweed on the outside. Tofu in the appetizer miso soup was the size of 1/3 a pencil eraser.
  
  Seriously? Superstore's deli is more generous!
  
  Horrible service. Not that busy. Two wait staff, two chefs, and I waited over 20 minutes. As did everyone else. Four tables, just...waiting. With food on only one table.

  Great little place. Good atmosphere and the staff are upbeat and friendly. I really liked their Atlantic salmon sashimi in how it's a big piece but thinly sliced. The down side is that it's a bit pricier than sushi mura (my go-to!). My husband complains that they didn't cut the rolls all the way through and their point grey roll was falling apart.

  If I could give this "restraurant" no stars, I would. Don't waste your time or money with this place, bad, greasy food and worse service. Sushi falls apart, full of cheap tasting oil and mayo, calamari is disgusting.

  What really stood out was their salmon sashimi. Very fresh fish, and cut in a very unique way that I think enhances the experience of enjoying it! A little on the pricey side but the quality and taste to match it. The only improvement I feel they need is to pay a bit more attention to their rolls. A few pieces were not cut all the way through and also fell apart.
