  First of all I believe that Coast deserves my 3.0 stars and overall 3.8 star reviews. We arrived 10 min early and went across the street to a bakery, when we got out our valet car was still parked out front with the drivers window down and keys on the front seat. I went into my own car started it, rolled up the window and locked it before an attendee asked me what I was doing. As for the service it was excellent considering that the kitchen was always apologizing for the delays, I can't fault the wait staff for the kitchen staff creating delays. Our calamari Appy was excellent, hot and tasted great, small mixup on our appetizer but quickly fixed. Although the Bouillabaisse was nothing more than tomato water. Also my wife had one mussel and I had 4 (so I obviously I have her some of mine) The main course was good, but my wife's sauce was lacking seafood so the staff brought her a side of proper sauce. Dessert was expected and tasty. Overall good service but a lot of small issues not normally expected of a higher end restaurant. We'll just stick to John Bishops from now on and maybe Black and Blue.

  One of the best seafood restaurants in Vancouver. The mango California roll is a great appetizer choice. The Mussels are also very good. This restaurant it's always busy, so reservations are definitely recommended.

  We loved our experience at Coast when we were there in April! We walked in and weren't sure we would be welcome with our toddler and the waitstaff and managers were amazing!!! They made her feel so special and offered to bring out her food first so she could start eating. THe food at Coast is out of this world good! Looking forward to our next trip to Vancouver to enjoy the Coast again!

  Great food and service. But there were times I think they should have turned around to wait for their question about the food. We were deep in a conversation. But overall enjoyed it.

  The staff are fun and very knowledgeable. The new happy hour menu has something for everyone and its a great introduction to their regular menu. Rumor is they will be serving brunch soon, I can't wait to see what Chef Mark and his talented team come up with. I just wish they has a better craft beer selection, with so many wonderful breweries around it is a shame they have nothing local on tap.
